The president and vice president are set to unveil a $250-billion infrastructure package that includes $30 billion for the Trump administration’s infrastructure plan and $30-billion for the National Infrastructure Act, as well as $50 billion for research and development.

The two also plan to sign an executive order to increase investment in manufacturing and a plan to expand access to energy.

The plan, expected to be announced Friday afternoon, will include $50-billion to expand solar energy and $50.4 billion to expand biofuels production, according to a White House statement.
